Seville, Spain 10.05.08

A beautiful city in South Spain

City View. Please say something nice. I climbed 30 floors for this

Cathedral

Cathedral Tower

The Cathedral - A Must for Everyone visiting Seville. Parts of the cathedral were built in different era, sparking different architecture "fashion" in the building. And it used to be a mosque too. Converted to Cathedral.

In the cathedral too: Christopher Colombus Tomb. Its a bit dark, hope you can see

The Alcazar. Islamic architecture, Jawi (I assumed) characters

Plaza de Toros. Bullfighting originated from Seville, around 16th century
Again..can't recall the name....hmm...

Fan on Sale

Purple flowers

Big Bunga Kertas

Went to a free midnight Flamenco Show, sat "1st" row...here the passionate flamenco dancer shows her moves

And she turns...

Madrid, Spain 09.05.08

A Short 1 Day Trip around Madrid

A very beautiful plaza...forgot the name though. I saw it in a postcard and asked the salesgirl where is it. She pointed the place on the map and OFF ME GO..:)

A must for Art Lover. The famous art musuem. But I must say, after looking at their collections, I don't really fancy Spanish art. It seems a bit dull...

The Real Palace. The royals don't stay here, only used it for official events. They build this with reference to the Versailles. But I think the interior is richer than those in Versailles.

A statue in front of the palace

Famous plaza: forgot the name as well..hmm..Eileen..help!

Famous, big cathedral

Nice Building

My usual McD ritual

Lisbon, Portugal 07.05.08 - 08.05.08

Note: Piggy on Fire to roast Tapas. We had Tapas Night, where we could had all tapas we like at a minimum amount.

Alley at the centre

The two on top: Not ordinary marina. Its historical port, where thousands ships set sailed to expand Portugal Empire
The two below: The Plaza of Power

The Monastry...A must in Lisbon

The Altar - Amazing! Note the details on the pillars

Monastry - Look at the detail on each of the pillars...

The Famous Tart. Originated from the nuns in the monastry. Today, only 3 breathing human being have the receipie in their head.

The Empayar

Some interesting statue. No idea where they wanna go

Some famous tower, but not sure about the lantern

The city view. Due to a huge tsunami in the 18th century, the whole city were destroyed, casualities on that day alone was 50,000. They rebuilt the whole city, and thus the building looked new

Guess what this is
